Thursday - 4 April: 5:30 - 7:00 PM

  • Arrive at LA LAURIE MANSION for a welcome and progressive happy hour while touring the house with interior designer, Katie Scott. You’ll pass throngs of tour groups who marvel at the La Laurie mansion 24/7 and be one of the few to enter the historic home.

  • Insights and history of the mansion’s haunted past and cleansed present will unfold as your tour.

  • Tour will end on the rooftop deck overlooking the French Quarter we get to know one another while enjoying floral cocktails and more.

  • The history of the home will be shared as well as how its past has been cleansed. Hint: the “Power of Flowers” has much to do with the La Laurie’s new beginnings and you will have the opportunity to be a part of its future.

  • Retreat to your own home or nearby boutique hotel (suggestions of several are available) for the evening and rest up before returning for a packed day.

Friday - 5 April: 9:00 - 5:00PM

  • Courtyard entrance and breakfast of Cafe du Monde’s famous chicory coffee and more.

  • Welcome by Maura. Abundant, specialty blooms will also greet you!

  • 11:00 AM -Get to work at your flower station for our morning lesson:
    “Compotes in the Courtyard”

  • Catered lunch and break in the dining room and salons of the mansion.

  • 1:30 PM -Return to the courtyard for the second lesson:
    “Fancy and French - pave centerpieces”.

  • Art opening and gathering at Gallery Orange .

  • 5:00PM Send off for an Evening on your own to explore the Quarter or rest up for a packed day on Saturday.

Saturday - 6 April:  9:00 - 5:00PM

  • Return through the gated front door and ascend the stairs to the kitchen for another catered breakfast and hands-on lesson.

  • 10:00AM — Low and lush centerpieces for an elaborate, formal tablescape.

  • 11:30 AM -Lunch in the wine cellar of La Laurie.

  • 1:00 PM -Return to your home/hotel for freshening up and to get your “inner fancy” on.

  • 3:30PM -Return for a 1:1 portrait session with photographer ANDREA WALKER who will be photographing our work and interactions throughout the weekend but will now focus on you.

  • 4:00 - 6:30PM End with a formal heavy happy hour which could suffice as dinner.
